Expansion of the Scala Huechuraba Campus Data Center

Description: The project is a modification of an original project, which consists of an infrastructure proposal designed to store technological data, based on a design, which represents a comprehensive solution to improve current and future digital connectivity, being a fundamental part of the technological and communication development of the region. The original project contemplates the construction of a one-story building to house the data center equipment. This modification seeks to expand the original project, incorporating new buildings on the adjacent land, meaning sub-phase 2 and sub-phase 3. Sub-phase 2 involves the construction of an additional one-story building located adjacent to sub-phase 1 in order to increase data storage capacity. This sub-phase 2, also supplied with power via grid connection, will have power generators for power outage situations, chiller-type cooling equipment, maintenance warehouses and storage for different uses, client offices, break rooms, conference rooms, spaces for garbage containers, security rooms, access controls, vehicle and truck parking, and bicycle racks. Sub-phase 3, to be developed adjacent to sub-phase 1, includes a building to support said sub-phase, through the implementation of an enclosure that will only contain electrical equipment, data centers and generators. Regarding these, generators and chiller-type cooling equipment are only considered for power outage situations. The project is located at Santa Marta de Huechuraba Street No. 6116 and Américo Vespucio No. 1573, Huechuraba commune, Metropolitan Region, Chile.
