Said road is currently type A2, with two lanes, one in each direction, and with a right-of-way width of 60 m and a total length of 46.5 km. The expansion of the third lane will only be carried out in three sections of the highway, this in accordance with the vehicle capacity currently presented. The project will be divided into sub-sections: Sub section 1 : right side extension 14.87 km, from kilometer 5+910 to 20+775 (four bridge extension) Sub Section 2 : right side extension 11.02 km, from mileage 26+175 to 37+200. Sub Section 3 : widening of the left side of 3.47 km, from mileage 42+265 to 45+735 In the first and last meters of each sub-section, the width of the lane to be incorporated will fade to join the body of the existing road, with no vegetation in that area as it corresponds to the body of the road. This one-lane expansion in the indicated sections will be incorporated into the road's right-of-way. The project is part of the 61 projects contemplated in the National Infrastructure Agreement and will generate 901 direct and 2,252 indirect jobs.
