It is the third and final stage of the line. Construction will involve the addition of new tracks and three new stations located at: Ferrocarril: Av. Manuel Antonio Matta with Senator Jaime Guzmán in Quilicura. Lo Cruzat: Av. Manuel Antonio Matta with Av. Las Torres and Lo Cruzat in Quilicura. Plaza Quilicura: Terminal station at Av. Manuel Antonio Matta with Del Arado in Quilicura. The extension will require the acquisition of 12 new trains and will benefit 271.000 people who will be able to reach downtown Santiago in 20 minutes. Today, the same trip takes an average of 44 minutes. The daily flow of the extension is expected to be 23,800 passengers.
