Crude oil Shallow waters

Description: Frade is in the north of the Campos basin, 120km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro state. Water depth varies from 1,050m to 1,300m. Frade’s subsea system includes horizontal wet Christmas trees, flexible production lines, a water injection line in loop, elevation systems via gas lift and umbilical connections. On the topside, the fluids produced are received via individual risers passing through a turret connected to the FPSO Frade. Oil is exported with conventional tankers, while gas is transported through a pipeline to the Roncador field’s pipeline.
