Green Hydrogen Production Plant - Horizonte de Verano

Description: The project contemplates the construction of a hydrogen, green ammonia and e-fuels production plant based on a photovoltaic project of up to 5.85 GWp in its five phases. The land facilities will be located in the district of Majes, province of Caylloma. Likewise, a desalination plant, a terminal and pipelines will be built in the coastal area, located in the district of Quilca, province of Camaná. In its first phase, it will produce more than 420 thousand tons of green ammonia per year, reaching a production of 1.65 million tons of green ammonia per year, with a total installed solar generation capacity of 5,850 MWp, in its complete phase. This production will be transported via a pipeline to the coast, where a maritime storage and distribution facility will be located to transport green ammonia. The electrolysis plant will use desalinated water processed in the same plant to produce hydrogen, which will later be converted into ammonia to be transported by sea.
