The BESS system will consist of 24 storage units with a storage capacity of 5.32 hours. Each unit will consist of two BESS containers of 7.2MWh each. The project, which will be distributed over an area of approximately 1.10ha, will be located in the commune of Tierra Amarilla, province of Copiapó, Atacama region, Chile. During the construction phase of the project, which will last 18 months, a workforce of 10 workers on average, and a maximum of 20, is estimated.
