The line is expected to cross the municipalities of Zempoala, Villa de Tezontepec, Tizayuca and Jaltocán in Hidalgo, and Tecamác and Zumpango in Edomex, also taking advantage of the existing railway right-of-way. Its construction is expected to generate more than 40,000 direct jobs and the train will be similar to the Mexico - Toluca with a fleet of electric units that can reach more than 120 kilometers per hour. This project will not only have a connection with the AIFA, but also with the Buenavista - Lechería Suburban Train, with Metro Line B, with Lines 1 and 3 of the Metrobús and 4 of the Mexibús, as well as the Tuzobús of Pachuca. With this passenger train, the trip from Pachuca to AIFA will be reduced from 40 to just 20 minutes, and from Pachuca to Mexico City, from an hour and a half to just 40 minutes. It is estimated that this comprehensive project will transport between 50,000 and 180,000 passengers daily. The project corresponds to the second section of the Suburban Train branch to the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA). The project is part of the first package of 800km of priority railway lines.
