Power would be transported to the Jutipalca substation via a transmission line. Construction will require a total of 2,000 workers. The Patuca III hydro plant will be located in eastern department Olancho, between Catacamas and Patuca municipalities, 5km downstream of the confluence of Guayape and Guayambre rivers.
