It will have a circuit of stations that will connect the Chinancocha Lagoon (3,850 meters above sea level) with the foothills of the Huascarán Snow-capped Mountain (4,750 meters above sea level), the highest mountain in the country. It will have cabins for the transport of visitors, improving tourist accessibility and facilitating access to areas of difficult altitude. Developed under the name "Sustainable Development Tourism Axis", the project was declared of local public interest by the Provincial Municipality of Yungay through Council Agreement No. 95-2024-MPY. It is estimated that it will benefit 250,000 tourists annually.
