Titanium

Description: The project consists in the expansion of the Ilmenite Plant’s nameplate capacity from 196 ktpy to 265 ktpy to meet the demand of the proposed Pigment Plant. The ilmenite concentrate feedstock will be sourced from its stocks of non-magnetic material located in its tailings ponds from past operations. The stocked material in tailings ponds will be depleted in 2032, at which point the company plans to source feedstock for its ilmenite concentrate processing plant from the non-magnetic concentrate generated from the Novo Amparo (NAO), Novo Amparo Norte (NAN), Gulçari A Norte (GAN), and São José (SJO) Deposits . The project is located in the state of Bahia, Brazil.
