Description: The present Project consists of performing the hydraulic fracturing of the eighth satellite well of the PAD Cortado Creek ZG-C. Given the above, the project presented below corresponds to a modification referring to the increase in the total number of wells to be fractured specifically for this PAD belonging to the Arenal Block. It should be noted that the construction, location and drilling, has been evaluated and approved environmentally through the RCA No. 047/2018? Generic Sub-Blocks Arenal ?. The hydraulic fracturing process (FH) consists of a well stimulation technique, through the sustained injection of a fluid at such a pressure, which causes the reservoir rock to rupture (increasing the contact area of the reservoir with the well), in order to create new channels or connect existing flow channels, increasing the flow rate of the well and thereby its productivity and profitability. The well that will undergo this process has the objective of production in the Glauconitic Formation Geological Unit, a reservoir that is located approximately between 1,500 and 3,000 mbnmm (meters below the mean sea level) deep. This formation has demonstrated, through previous studies, that there is a confined hydrocarbon reservoir, which could not be extracted due to the low permeability of the rock. The permeability of the rock in conventional hydrocarbon deposits (as in the case of Springhill in Magellan) is approximately 5 to 1,500 millidarcy, however, in unconventional deposits, the permeability of the rock ranges from 0.001 to 0.04 milidarcy. Due to the low permeability, the fracture operation is necessary, without which it would not be possible to extract the hydrocarbons contained in the reservoir. Objective Incorporate one (1) new hydraulic fracture for the PAD Creek Cut ZG-C, corresponding to the 8th satellite well in the Glauconitic Zone, in order to increase the productivity of hydrocarbons contained in the reservoir.
