Description: The project entails the construction of a combined cycle plant, which uses natural gas as fuel and has a gas turbine, a heat recovery boiler, a condensing steam turbine and an electric power generator. It also includes a transmission line. Jaci has a single-shaft configuration, meaning the natural gas and steam turbines are coupled on a single shaft and drive a single generator. The project considers that the interconnection of the plant to the electrical system will be carried out through the sectioning of the Campos II - Lagos transmission line. The plant, which requires a workforce of 1,000 workers, is located in the municipality of Macaé, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
