Photovoltaic Green Hydrogen

Description: Kahirós, located near Fray Bentos, Uruguay, aims to build and operate a pilot plant for the production of green hydrogen (H2V) from solar photovoltaic energy. The H2V will be used as fuel in heavy-duty trucks in Uruguay's forestry logistics chain. The project includes the construction and installation of: A small-scale modular H2V production plant consisting of a 2 MW poston exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer. Infrastructure for the storage and supply of hydrogen. Six fuel cell trucks. A photovoltaic solar park for the generation of electrical energy required for the process.
