It will connect 12 districts in the northern and southern cones of Lima (San Juan de Miraflores, Miraflores, San Isidro, Lince, Jesús María, Cercado de Lima, Rímac, San Martín de Porres, Independencia, Los Olivos, Comas and Puente Piedra). This connection will be made through Chillón-Trapiche, Panamericana Norte, Tacna, Arequipa, Larco, Alfredo Benavides, Panamericana Sur and Pedro Miotta Avenues. Both the route and the stations will be subway and will have two tracks, one outbound and one return. The project will connect with the rest of the lines once its construction is completed. At the following stations it will be possible to transfer between lines. Line 1 will be connected to the following stops: Cabitos and Los Héroes. Line 2 will have a connection at the following stop: Estación Central (currently under construction). Through this station you will also be able to access the Metropolitano. It is estimated that the line will serve 2 million daily users, considerably improving the efficiency and comfort of public transportation in Lima. The line could be connected to the Metropolitano by having a stop at the bus system's Central Station, located in Cercado de Lima. In addition, it will also pass through Naranjal Station, in the district of Independencia.
