Description: Lo Ermita del Verano Photovoltaic Park Power generation plants greater than 3 MW The project, which is submitted to the Environmental Impact Assessment System through this Environmental Impact Statement, is located in the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, Maipo Province, Calera Commune of Tango, specifically in the building "Rinconada Ermita, which corresponds to the Seventh, Ninth and Tenth hijuelas of the Fundo Lo Ermita". The project considers occupying, between permanent and temporary works, a total area of 18.9 hectares. It consists of the construction and operation of a photovoltaic park for the generation of electrical energy, made up of photovoltaic panels, mounted on a metal support structure with single-axis solar trackers, which allows the efficient use of solar energy, producing clean energy. and inexhaustible, which will be transformed by inverters from direct current to alternating current. The energy produced will be injected into the National Electric System (SEN). They contemplate the installation of 19,136 nominal panels of 565 watts, which together will represent a maximum power of 9 MWac, which will be injected into the electrical distribution line through a medium voltage line (23 KV), from the plant to the connection point 318046, this being an energy project classified as Small Medium Distributed Generation (PMGD). Among the main benefits of being a PMGD is that the distribution companies must allow the connection of PMGD to their facilities, as long as the requirements of safety and quality of service are respected, and that the necessary works to allow the injection of power by the PMGD must be executed by distribution companies. The owner Olca SpA (hereinafter "The Owner"), submits an environmental evaluation, in accordance with the contents established in articles 9 ter, 12 bis, 13, 13 bis, 18 and 18 ter of Law No. 19,300 of General Bases of the Environment, modified by Law No. 20,417, and the provisions of articles No. 12, No. 13, No. 14, No. 15, No. 16, No. 17 and No. 19 of Supreme Decree No. 40/2012 of the Ministry of the Environment, which Approves Regulations for the Evaluation System of Environmental Impact (CSR). The evaluation of the project will be carried out considering each of its stages (Construction, Operation and Closure), in accordance with the provisions of current regulations. In accordance with the foregoing and in relation to Supreme Decree No. 40/2013 MMA Regulation of the Environmental Impact Assessment System and what is determined in its Art. 3, the project must be submitted to the Environmental Impact Assessment System under literal c ) Power generating plants greater than 3 MW. The Project aims to provide clean electricity through Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) to the National Electric System (SEN), through a photovoltaic park with a nominal power of 9 MWac.
