Description: Los Tordos Photovoltaic Park Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The project consists of the installation, operation and eventual closure of a photovoltaic solar plant with 12 MWp of installed power, made up of 32,508 polycrystalline silicon panels with a power of 370 W each, mounted on galvanized steel metal structures composed of 386 tracking supports on an axis or tracker (daily east-west), which are fixed to 12 piles driven directly into the ground at a depth of approximately 1.5 m, without the need to use concrete foundations, which allows the physical-chemical characteristics of the soil to be preserved. The photovoltaic park will be subdivided electrically into eighteen (18) units, each with a generation of 0.5 MW. Each generating unit will consist of one (1) 0.8/13.2 KV – 0.6 MVA transformation center, mounted on a reinforced concrete slab installed directly on the ground, without the need to use deep foundations. The purpose of the transformer is to raise the output voltage of the inverters to the appropriate level for power distribution. The installation of a total of 90 inverters of 100 kW each, located in front of the trackers to which said inverters are connected, is also considered. All low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV) and weak current (DC) wiring will be underground in compacted trenches at least 60 cm deep. The MV wiring will be raised to a pole projected in the eastern sector of the property, where it will be connected, together with the other interconnection equipment, to the existing distribution power line, the "San Clemente" feeder of the "San Miguel" Substation, belonging to the to the company “CGED SA” The Photovoltaic Park will be delimited throughout its perimeter by a rigid fence of the Acmafor type or similar crowned with barbed wire. The facilities will also have auxiliary equipment for closed-circuit security cameras (CCTV) and monitoring of all equipment and system parameters through the SCADA system, which will allow remote control and inspection of the Project. The energy surpluses will be injected into the National Electric System[1] (SEN). The Project, classified as a minor civil work, is part of the Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) initiative, defined by Law 20,257 and its subsequent amendments, which is being promoted by the government and other agencies, to diversify the energy matrix from the country. The social, environmental and economic benefits that the Project will contribute during its useful life to the commune where it will be located, fall into its nature as it is defined as a Small Distributed Generation Means (PMGD), eliminating possible environmental impacts associated with large generation projects. generation, providing work and clean energy to the community and the sector, in a sustainable manner and at a competitive price. [1] System composed of the old Interconnected Central (SIC) and Interconnected North Great (SING) systems. The objective of the Project is the generation of renewable electricity from photovoltaic solar technology.
