Lot 3: Morada Nova, Paracatuba, Banabuiú, Russas and Alex transmission lines

Description: The project consists of the construction of the transmission lines of lot 3 of transmission auction No. 1/2024, carried out by the energy regulator ANEEL. The project seeks to expand the Basic Network in the northern area of the Northeast Region in order to enable the full flow of plants already contracted in the Northeast Region, expand the connection margins of new generation projects and meet the growth of local demand . The components of the lot are: LT 500 kV Morada Nova - Pacatuba C1, CS, with 146.7 km; LT 230 kV Banabuiú - Morada Nova, C1, CS, with 55.9 km; LT 230 kV Morada Nova - Russas II, C1, CS, with 57.9 km; LT 230 kV Alex - Morada Nova, C1, CS, with 61.8 km; 500 kV LT stretches between the Pacatuba SE and the Pecém II 500 kV LT section - Fortaleza II 05C2, CS, with 2 x 1.8 km; 500 kV LT stretches between the Pacatuba SE and the Quixadá 500 kV LT section - Fortaleza II C1, CS, with 2 x 1.2 km; 500 kV LT stretches between the Morada Nova SE and the Açu III 500 kV LT section - Quixadá C1, CS, with 0.4 km each; Stretches of LT 230 kV between the SE Morada Nova and the section of LT 230 kV Banabuiú - Russas II C2, with 2 x 1.0 km; Stretches of LT 230 kV between SE Alexy and the section of LT 230 kV Banabuiú - Mossoró II C1, with 2 x 2.8 km; SE 500/230 kV Morada Nova - (6+1R) x 300 MVA. The lines will pass through the municipalities of Aquiraz, Eusébio, Fortaleza, Guaiúba, Horizonte, Itaitinga, Maracanaú, Maranguape, Pacajús, Pacatuba, Acarape, Aracoiaba, Barreira, Chorozinho, Redenção, Ocara, Ibaretama, Ibicuitinga, Morada Nova, Russas, Banabuiú, Jaguaretama, Morada Nova, Limoeiro do Norte, São João do Jaguaribe and Tabuleiro do Norte, in the state of Ceará. The successful bidder has a period of 60 months to put the lot into commercial operation, counting from the signing of the concession contract. It is estimated that the project will generate 1,966 jobs.
