The project seeks to expand the electrical energy transmission capacity to serve the west of Bahia, southeast of Tocantins, south of Maranhão and southwest of Piauí, located in the area called Matopiba. The components of the lot are: Formosa do Rio Preto - Gilbués II transmission line, C1, CS Formosa do Rio Preto - Dianópolis transmission line, C1, CS Formosa do Rio Preto subsation The lines will pass through the municipalities of Gilbués, Monte Alegre do Piauí, Corrente and Riacho Frio in the state of Piauí, Formosa do Rio Preto in the state of Bahia and Mateiros, Dianópolis and Rio da Conceição, in the state of Tocantins. The successful bidder has a period of 60 months to put the lot into commercial operation, counting from the signing of the concession contract. It is estimated that the project will generate 1,057 jobs.
