Description: Macarena Solar Photovoltaic Solar Park Project Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The “Macarena Solar Photovoltaic Solar Park” Project corresponds to the construction and operation of a photovoltaic solar park framed within the Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) for the generation of electricity, based on photovoltaic solar technology, whose nominal power is 3.1 MW and a 23 kV medium voltage line. The energy generated will be injected into the National Electric System (SEN) through a connection point. The Project is located in an area of approximately 3.3 hectares, located in the Commune of Pozo Almonte, Tamarugal Province, Tarapacá Region. Being a NCRE project, its operation will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx); as well as particulate material, associated with electricity generation based on the burning of fossil fuels, thereby reducing carbon footprint rates. The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, for this, a photovoltaic park will be installed, whose nominal power will be 3.1 MW. The energy generated will be injected into the National Electric System (SEN) through a connection point (PP 2-026694) in the medium voltage line (23 kV) belonging to the Pampino feeder, owned by Eliqsa.
