The initiative, which will go from Bolombolo to Turbo, seeks to promote intermodality, apply trade facilitation measures and have competitive modes of transport in the region. The train will benefit a population of more than 5mn inhabitants in 22 municipalities: Amapá, Angelópolis, Santa Fe de Antioquia, Anzá, Apartadó, Betulia, Buriticá, Cañasgordas, Carepa, Chigorodó, Concordia, Dabeiba, Fredonia, Frontino, Giraldo, Mutatá, Olaya, Sopetrán, Titiribi, Turbo, Uramita and Venice.
