Description: The project is one of two, connected, cable car lines planned for the city of Quito. The lines will offer the benefit of shorter travel times; travel between the two end stations should take 22 minutes. They will also reduce carbon emissions by an estimated 70,000 tons annually. 67,000 passengers are expected to use the system daily. Line one of the cable car will be built from the Santa Carolina park to the Cumbaya neighborhood, ending in Tumbaco.
