Description: The project, formerly known as the Mexico-Querétaro High-Speed Train, involves the implementation of a passenger train that will connect the Buenavista station in Mexico City with San Juan del Río, in the capital of Querétaro. The initiative will cover the section in an estimated time of 1 hour and 40 minutes. Along its route, the project will pass through the following municipalities: The municipality has 10 municipalities in the State of Mexico: Tlalnepantla de Baz, Tultitlan, Cuautitlan Izcalli, Cuautitlan, Teoloyucan, Coyotepec, Huehuetoca, Jilotepec, Soyaniquilpan de Juarez, Polotitlan. 5 municipalities in the State of Hidalgo: Atotonilco de Tula, Tepeji del Rio de Ocampo, Tula de Allende, Chapantongo, Nopala de Villagran. 5 municipalities in the State of Querétaro: San Juan del Rio, Pedro Escobedo, Colon, El Marques, Querétaro. In Mexico City, the project will connect with the Buenavista Terminal of Line B of the Metro and the Suburban Train , as well as with the Buenavista Station (lines 1, 3 and 4 of the Metrobús) and the Ecobici system. In Querétaro, the train will be integrated with the Qrobús public transport system. In addition, it is expected to connect with branches to Nuevo Laredo, in the state of Tamaulipas, and Guadalajara, in Jalisco.
