Description: The project aims to retake the old route of the Mexico-Veracruz Railway, known as the Jarocho Train, currently used for freight transport, and transform it for passenger transport with the intention of linking the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and the interior of the country. The initiative also seeks to alleviate the saturation of the highway that connects both regions and strengthen connectivity between the states of Mexico, Puebla and Veracruz by promoting interstate economic and tourism development.
