Description: The Minas-San Francisco and La Union hydroelectric project will consist of two stages, the first called Minas-San Francisco, will have a 65.4m-high dam, a 14km-long driving tunnel, a pressure pipe and a house of underground machines. The second stage, called La Unión, will use San Francisco's turbine waters to drive them through a second 12km long tunnel to the pressure pipeline and the underground powerhouse.
