Description: Moya Photovoltaic Park Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The "Moya Photovoltaic Park" Project corresponds to the construction and operation of a photovoltaic park framed within the Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE) destined to the generation of electrical energy from the photovoltaic solar technology, whose nominal power will be 9 MW. The Project will be developed in an area of approximately 22.63 ha, where permanent and temporary works will be incorporated. The Project will be located in the Biobío region, in the Biobío province, Cabrero commune, located in a rural environment approximately 5 km to the southeast (SE) of the city of Cabrero and 4.6 km to the northwest of the town of Charrúa. In the case of a NCRE Project, the operation will contribute to reducing polluting gas emissions that cause the greenhouse effect (GHG) such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx) as well as particulate matter, associated with electricity generation based on the burning of fossil fuels, thereby reducing carbon footprint rates. The general objective of the Project corresponds to the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, for which a photovoltaic park will be installed, whose nominal power will be 9 MW, which will be evacuated to the existing distribution network.
