The facility, which will have a total cargo handling capacity of 16,000t/h, will allow for the berthing of four ships. One berth will be for large "cape sized" ships with the capacity to handle nearly 110,000t of grain. The other three are designed for "Post Panamax" ships, which have handling capacities of some 75,000t.
