There is a deficit in the Juan Caballero canal irrigation system due to the operations of the Valdesia reservoir, whose deficit has increased due to the increase in land for agricultural use. Correcting this imbalance is one of the main objectives of the project, as is the supply of drinking water and electricity generation. The initiative, which will be connected to the Bani substation, will have an average annual generation of 4 GWH/year.
