Description: Nan Photovoltaic Plant Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The Project presented for evaluation contemplates the construction and operation of a Photovoltaic Plant[1], consisting of 23,940 photovoltaic panels of 400 Wp each; that together they will have a nominal generation power of 8 MW[2] that will be injected into the National Electric System (SEN). The photovoltaic panels will be arranged on monofilament tracker structures with an EO (mobile) axis and will have self-powered motors, allowing the efficient use of solar energy. The total area occupied by the Project is equivalent to 19.3757 hectares. The conversion from direct current to alternating current will be done through inverters, while the increase from low voltage to medium voltage will be done through the use of transformer equipment. The energy produced, converted and transformed will be conducted and injected directly into the SEN, since an Evacuation Line is not required. The connection to the SEN will be through an existing pole, located on the Project property boundary, by means of a drop line. Subsequently, it will be connected to the Santa Julia feeder corresponding to the 15 kV "Graneros Substation", in accordance with the provisions of the Technical Standard for Connection and Operation of Small Distributed Generation Means (PMGD)[3] in Medium Voltage installations. For further details regarding the location of the electrical connection point, see Section 1.5 on Project Location. In accordance with the above, the projected Photovoltaic Plant has the following general technical characteristics: Table 1‑4. Technical Characteristics of the Project. Source: self made. In addition to the solar panels and their connection elements, the Project will require permanent buildings necessary for the operation of the Plant, understood as: two [2] warehouses for materials, two [2] electrical rooms, one [1] warehouse for collection of hazardous waste, one [1] internal road and one [1] perimeter fence. It should be noted that the operation and surveillance of the Plant will be carried out remotely and in real time, also having a [1] Plant Video Surveillance System. In addition to the above, the Project will require temporary works to provide support to the Construction Phase, understood as a [1] Works Installation (IF) made up of chemical toilets, dining rooms, offices, a temporary collection area for household waste, non-hazardous waste collection area, control and entry booth, machinery parking, material unloading area, temporary material storage area, light vehicle parking. The Construction Phase of the Project will have a duration of six [6] months and will require an average workforce of 60 workers/month and a maximum workforce of 68 workers/month, while the Operation Phase will have a duration of 30 years and a average workforce of three [3] workers/month and a maximum of five [5] workers/month. It is reiterated that the operation of the Plant will be carried out remotely, therefore, the presence of permanent labor at the Plant is not contemplated, considering only specific visits for maintenance purposes in accordance with the detail indicated in Section 1.8.1.3 of this Chapter. Finally, the Closing Phase contemplates only the dismantling of works, removal of machinery, leveling of the land and subsequent cleaning and closure of the sector, activities that project an estimated duration of four [4] months and a maximum labor requirement of 23 workers/month The objective of the Nan Photovoltaic Plant is to generate electricity from the use of solar energy through the implementation of 23,940 solar panels of 400 Wp each, which together will have a generation potential of 8 MWn of nominal power that will be injected into the System.
