Fiber

Description: The project contemplates the installation of a sub-fluvial fiber cable that will connect the city of Santarém, in the state of Pará, and Manaus, in the state of Amazonas, through fiber laid along the Amazon River to minimize environmental impacts. Infovia 01 has 11 telecommunications stations in containers, known as Modular Container Data Centers (DCMC). This initiative is part of the second section of the eight that make up the Norte Conectado program, which seeks to expand the communications infrastructure in the Amazon region of Brazil through a sub-fluvial fiber trunk network.
