The cable will begin in Manacapuru, Amazonas state, and end in Rio Branco, Acre state. The project is phase 2 of the North Connected program, which includes nine sections (or infovias) totaling 12,000km. The project is expected to interconnect 59 municipalities to serve a population of 9.2 million.
