The initiative will be located south of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and Webb County, Texas, United States. The bridge would connect with the Mex-85 and US I-35 and US I-69 highways, with the capacity to process 30,000 containers and 25,000 vehicles daily. Its execution is justified given the exceeded capacity of the other steps, so it would shorten the crossing times. This project was included in the national private sector infrastructure investment agreement of September 2019.
