Teniente Project Portfolio - Andes Norte (New Mine Level)

Description: The Andes Norte New Mine Level Project contemplates the development of a new exploitation level, whose Production Level is located at the local mine level of 1,862 meters, below the current level of railway transport, Teniente 8. The main objective is to provide continuous operation of the El Teniente Division, through the incorporation of new mineral reserves into the exploitation that, in the first stage, will complement and, in the medium term, replace the exploitation levels located above the Teniente 8 level. The project is located at the El Teniente industrial complex in Machalí, 47km northeast of Rancagua. El Teniente Project Portfolio also includes Diamante and Andesita, which replaced the original Nuevo Nivel Mina project.
