Additionally, the project includes as part of its operation the processing of leachable minerals by adding sodium chloride, starting in 2035, for which a brine plant will have to be built, as well as modifications to the electrowinning plant. Additionally, the project contemplates a water transition period, for a limited period of 7 years, which implies that, during the first years of operation, the water rights must continue to be used from authorized wells, and later, in 2036 (year 9 of operation), it must be supplied by authorized and environmentally assessed third parties.
