Our Lady of the Angels Photovoltaic Park

Description: Nuestra Señora de los Angeles Photovoltaic Park Power generation plants greater than 3 MW The “Our Lady of Los Angeles Photovoltaic Park” Project (hereinafter the Project) includes the construction and operation of a new photovoltaic generation plant with a maximum power of 9 MWac to inject. It is a project classified as Small Medium Distributed Generation (PMGD), that is, it is a small-scale generation system that supplies energy and power to the National Electric System through a connection with the local distribution system. The project will be located in the commune of Curicó, province of Curicó, Maule region, and will occupy an area of approximately 20.1 ha. This park will be made up of 21,060 panels with a nominal power of 500 Wp, it will have a nominal power of 10.5 MWp, which will allow the injection of 9 MW of electrical energy. These modules are electrically grouped into 54 distributed inverters (string inverters) of 185 kWac nominal power each. The inverters are distributed and connected equally in three 0.8/13.2kV transformer stations connected in parallel through medium voltage cells. The objective of the Project is the generation of electrical energy through the use of technologies that employ sources of Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (ERNC). In particular, solar radiation will be captured through the operation of a nominal 10.5 MWp photovoltaic plant that will inject 9 MWac into the National Electric System.
