Description: The project entails the construction and operation of a wind farm in the commune of Taltal, Antofagasta province and region, Chile. The project contemplates the installation of 140 wind turbines, two power lines, two substations, a 95 km long road network and a series of permanent and temporary complementary facilities, totaling a land occupation area of the order of 454 ha. The initiative, which will generate approximately 2,000 GWh annually, will inject the output power into Chile's National Electric System (SEN). The project contemplates a demand for labor in its construction phase of 600 people as a monthly average, with a maximum of 1,200 workers. For the operation phase, the demand for employment will be about 50 people.
