Description: The project involves the construction of a fiber optic route with 24 fiber pairs that will connect Santiago, the data center hub of Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The fiber network, which will be mostly aerial, will have an underground section in the Andes mountain range and will use dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) technology to offer high-speed services between both countries. The initiative plans to link the cities of Valparaíso (Chile), Mendoza, Pehuajó and Las Toninas (Argentina) along its route and includes a link between Buenos Aires, Pehuajó, and Las Toninas.
