Description: Peñon Solar II Power Generating Plants greater than 3 MW This Project consists of the installation and operation of a new Photovoltaic Park with a total net installed power of 9.00 MW, which will generate electricity through the use of 26,768 bifacial panels of up to 440 Wp each, with a peak power of 11,778 MWp, which will be injected into the National Electric System (SEN). To transmit and inject the energy generated, the Project contemplates a 23 kV Medium Voltage Power Line of approximately 1.4 km in length, with the aim of increasing the power voltage of the Park, which will be connected to the existing substation called “Las Piedras”, which is located within the El Peñón Power Plant (RE N ° 269/2008), owned by ENLASA GENERACIÓN CHILE SA It should be noted that this project corresponds to the re-entry of the Peñón Solar II Project, which was entered into procedure on April 16 of this year. The Project aims to generate electricity from non-conventional renewable energies (NCRE), taking advantage of the solar potential of the Coquimbo region.
