It also includes the construction of a step-up substation and a power line. The project will capture energy from the existing Las Dichas substation, store it temporarily (during times of lower demand) and inject it back into the electrical system (towards the same Las Dichas substation) during times of highest demand, providing reliability to the electrical system. The initiative, which will be located on 8.94ha, will be situated 0.75km west of the city of Casablanca, commune of Casablanca, province and region of Valparaíso, Chile. During the construction phase of the project, a maximum workforce of 116 workers and an average of 95 workers is estimated.
