Description: The project involved the construction and commissioning of the second line of the bus rapid transit system (BRT) in Puebla state's namesake capital. The new line stretches 13.4km from the north of the city to its southern zone and has 34 stations. Required investment in the line was made by the national development bank, Banobras, and the state government. Line No.2 of Puebla's bus rapid transit system began operating in April 2015 and has been rated as one of Mexico's best bus rapid transit system lines. Autobuses Del Oriente (ADO) has been awarded operating rights for line No.2.
