Description: Quebradona is situated in the Middle Cauca region of Colombia, in the Department of Antioquia, 60km southwest of Medellin. It is a porphyryrelated, copper-gold mineralised stock work system, located within the Western Cordillera of Colombia. Five main targets have been identified, of which Nuevo Chaquiro is the most advanced. The construction phase will take 4 years and the exploitation phase, 21 years. Subsequently, a 3-year closure phase and a post-closure phase of 10 years are contemplated. The project will use the sublevel subsidence mining method through 21 uniform and horizontal sublevels.
