Description: Recovery of Stockpiles from the Algarrobo mine Mining development projects over 5,000 tons/month The Project is located in the Atacama region, Huasco province, Vallenar commune, 35 km southwest of the city of Vallenar and consists of the exploitation, through the recovery and processing of iron ores from low-grade stockpiles existing at the site, which were generated during the exploitation of the Algarrobo and Penoso pits, also pre-existing. All these facilities are previously without activity to the temporary closure of Minas El Algarrobo. With the above, it will be possible to recover iron ore from the stockpiles of the old El Algarrobo mining site and concentrate by magnetic means and produce pre-concentrated iron ores to supply it to other CMP sites located in the Atacama region, which have the authorizations necessary for their reception and processing (concentration) or direct sale. The objective of the Project is the recovery and processing of iron ores from existing historical stockpiles, located within the El Algarrobo mining site, in order to take advantage of said resources for the production of iron pre-concentrate. The secondary objective is to supply CMP operations that require this mineral and have the authorization to receive and/or process external minerals and/or direct sale (such as the Pellets Plant, Magnetite Plant, Puerto Totoralillo).
