The project calls for adding an additional lane in both directions, converting the road into highway and repairing the existing lanes. Work will also be carried out to improve the route's safety, such as paving the shoulders and correcting curves. The project will benefit more than 4,500 people per day and generate approximately 200 jobs, of which 150 are local workers and 50 are specialized workers from all over the country. The highway will enhance traffic and road safety in one of the most important communication routes in the southwest of the Province towards the port of Rosario, passing through the towns of the agricultural and livestock production corridor, and linking it with the port of Ingeniero White. It will also benefit tourism due to its proximity to the mountain range.
