Description: Partial completion of the redevelopment work of the Cascavel stream - section: Padre Wendel Avenue - East-West Avenue. Several families living in the neighborhoods of Campinas and Vila São José who live near the banks of the Cascavel stream will benefit, with an estimated total of around 5,000 people in this situation in the proposed section. Frequent flooding problems during the rainy season, causing damage and various disruptions to the urban area in addition to the silting and devastation of the banks of the Cascavel stream. The expansion of rainwater drainage networks is necessary because this is an area of the city with an undersized macro-drainage network volume, which can no longer handle the volume of contribution to which it is subjected, thus causing frequent flooding problems. Therefore, the expansion and structuring of the channels should direct the volume of water to the retention basin. ID: 44521.52-45
