Description: RTN Solar SpA Photovoltaic Plant Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The RTN Solar Spa Photovoltaic Plant Project, hereinafter "the Project", corresponds to a project of small means of distributed generation (PMGD), which will produce electrical energy through renewable energies. non-conventional renewable energy (ERNC), through the construction of a photovoltaic panel plant to capture solar energy, which will inject up to 6 MW into the National Electric System (SEN), through a new medium voltage evacuation line (13.2 kV) to the existing “Vista Hermosa” medium voltage (MV) distribution line, connecting in tap-off from an existing pole of said power line near the Project. This new evacuation line will have a length of around 2 km. The Photovoltaic Plant will be made up of a generator with 21,186 photovoltaic panels of 330 Wp nominal power. The capacity of the plant in direct current will be 6,991 MWp of installed power in STC conditions (Standard Temperature Condition, acronym in English), which are: Cell temperature of the photovoltaic panel of 25 °C (not ambient temperature, but of the cell ). · Irradiance of 1,000 W/m² with a spectral air mass of 1.5 (AM 1.5). In this regard, it should be noted that the standardized parameter to classify the power of a photovoltaic panel is called peak power, and corresponds to the maximum power that the module can deliver under STC conditions. The maximum capacity to be injected into the National Electric System (SEN) will be no more than 6 MW, in accordance with the connection process pending with the Distributor. The photovoltaic panels will be arranged on fixed structures with a 25° inclination, facing North, grouped in a total of 1,177 strings (number of photovoltaic panels connected in parallel) of 18 modules, which together have the indicated nominal power ( 1,177x18=21,128 panels). The transformation of the direct current (DC) generated by the photovoltaic panels to alternating current (AC) will be carried out by means of inverters and the increase to medium voltage (13.2 kV) will be carried out by means of transformers. The energy produced, converted and transformed will be conducted through a medium voltage line (evacuation line) and injected into the SEN at a single connection point in the existing 13.2 kV "Vista Hermosa" distribution network. In addition to the photovoltaic panels and their connection elements, this Project will require a perimeter fence, an access gate, video-surveillance equipment and a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) surveillance system. The operation and surveillance of the plant will be carried out remotely and in real time, not contemplating the presence of workers in the facilities, except for maintenance work. The construction will be carried out in an estimated term of a maximum of six (6) months, and the operation of the Project will be programmed, initially, for thirty (30) years. During the development of this Environmental Impact Statement (DIA), a more detailed description of the works that make up the Project is provided. The general objective of the Project is the construction and operation of a Photovoltaic Plant that produces electricity type NCRE, to be injected to the National Electric System through a medium voltage evacuation line that will be connected to the local distribution network. The generation will be done through 21,186 photovoltaic panels of 330 Wp of nominal power.
