Description: San Juan Solar Plant Project Power generating plants greater than 3 MW The "San Juan Solar Plant" Project corresponds to a new Solar Plant located in the commune of Chillán, Ñuble Region. Said Project will generate clean energy through the construction of a 9 MW AC solar photovoltaic plant, which is why it is considered a small means of distributed generation (PMGD) based on non-conventional renewable energies (NCRE). The solar plant will be made up of approximately 21,504 monocrystalline panels, installed with one-axis trackers technology and considers the connection to a 13.2 kV power line (“Electric evacuation line”), connected to the “San Carlos” feeder owned by the local distribution company corresponding to the “Chillán” substation, this in order to transmit the energy produced to the National Electric System (SEN), in accordance with the Technical Standard for Connection and Operation of Small Distributed Generation Means (PMGD) in Medium Voltage installations The objective of the "San Juan Solar Plant" Project is the generation of electrical energy from solar energy, through a Solar Plant whose maximum power to be injected into the distribution network is 9 MW AC (Current Alternate).
