Description: The originally approved project has been modified to become a PMGD project. The modifications are: The original approved power was 48.9 MW, and this power is reduced to 9MW in the new configuration. This power reduction implies reducing the number of solar panels to be used, which goes from 174,760 panels to 35,500 panels. The original project was located on a property of 110 hectares, of which 87.69 hectares would be used for its works and facilities. In the new configuration, a smaller property will be used, whose surface area is 19.85 hectares. The original Project considered a high voltage power line with a 110 kV circuit, and an extension of 530 m. The new configuration of the project considers a medium voltage power line, with a 23 kV circuit, and an extension of 7 km, and will be connected to the Inca de Oro feeder of the Diego de Almagro substation. The objective of this Project is to modify the originally approved photovoltaic project, reducing its generation capacity from the original 48.9 MW to 9 MW, but maintaining a source of non-conventional renewable energy generation (NCRE) for the Atacama Region. , through the capture and transformation of solar energy, and being able to inject a nominal power of 9 MW into the National Electrical System, through a medium voltage power line.
