Syrah Solar Photovoltaic Park

Description: The Syrah Solar Photovoltaic Park consists of the construction and operation of a Photovoltaic Park (hereinafter PF) located in the commune of Tierra Amarilla, province of Copiapó. The electricity generating installation will be made up of 12,150 bifacial solar panels of 595 Wp each, in this way an installed power of 5.14 MWp will be reached, which will be connected to an inverter, whose individual nominal power amounts to 4000 Wn. Additionally, 1 MW bidirectional inverters connected to energy storage sites composed of Lithium-Phosphate-Iron batteries are considered. In this way, a nominal power of 4 MWn will be reached, which will be connected to a transformation center of 4 MWn each, which will be evacuated to the distribution network of the National Electric System (SEN). The Project will have a useful life of 40 years. It should be noted that the useful life of the Project may be extended to the extent that market conditions and technical duration justify the investment. The land is surrounded by a rural environment, whose access to the Project will be mainly through route C-35. The objective of the Project is to increase the generation of electrical energy through the use of non-conventional renewable technologies (NCRE). This energy will be produced with the inexhaustible resource of sunlight, for this a Photovoltaic Park with a nominal power of 4 MW will be installed that will be evacuated to the existing energy distribution network. Considering the geographical location of the Project and the high solar potential of the area, the generation of clean and renewable energy is possible. In this way, the Project interacts with the environment in an efficient and sustainable way, reducing energy generation from traditional sources of pollution.
