Fiber

Description: The project consists of the construction of a fiber optic cable specifically designed to meet the growing data demand in the Transamerica region. The system has been designed for low latency and high capacity solutions, and will link Florida with Central America and the Greater Caribbean. TAM-1 is the first stage of a broader digital infrastructure project, creating a large-scale, highly reliable network throughout the Caribbean Basin, with extensions to the Pacific of South America. The system, which will have 24 pairs of fiber optics, would have 11 landing stations along the route.
