In a first stage, it will supply water to the cities of Boqueirão, Boa Vista, Soledade, São Vicente do Seridó, Cubati, Sossego, Baraúna, Picuí and Frei Martinho. In a second stage, Juazeirinho, Olivedos, Carved Stone, New Palm, Cuite, New Forest, Santa Rosa Bar, Dam, Cacimba of Inside and Araruna will be added. The project corresponds to segment II of the Paraíba State Water Security Project, which seeks to improve water supply and the resilience of services in the face of extreme drought events in water-scarce regions. This branch will reduce pollution of scarce water resources in the region, improving the sanitation system and reducing overflow risks.
