Description: The project consists of the construction and implementation of a cable transportation system in the city of Uruapan, State of Michoacán, Mexico, to speed up passenger transfer times and reduce transportation costs, while attempting to reactivate the economy of the city by positioning it as a tourist center. The cablebus will be 100% electric, ecological and silent, and considers the development of social infrastructure, such as green areas, urban and recreational parks, sports fields and improvements in the markets surrounding the stations, and other complementary mobility works. Once operations begin, the initial demand will be 19 thousand passengers per day, who will be able to travel from east to west.
